EV Charger Enclosure Injection Mold
Production tooling for AC wallbox covers, DC cabinet front panels, pedestal housings, connector holsters, and cable management components. Engineered for outdoor UV exposure, sealing groove accuracy, dielectric wall thickness control, and flame-retardant material systems.
EV charger enclosure injection molds are built for manufacturing outdoor-rated housings that must satisfy sealing, impact, UV aging, and dielectric requirements. Tooling is developed from customer CAD data with wall thickness verification, gating strategy, warp prediction, and sealing groove layout completed before steel procurement. Molds accommodate flame-retardant PC, PC/ABS, ASA, and glass-filled PA grades, with dedicated polishing of gasket and O-ring contact surfaces. Deliverables include DFM reports, mold flow analysis, steel certificates, T1 sampling, dimensional inspection reports, seal groove measurement data, and PPAP documentation packages for infrastructure and OEM qualification programs.
